Thumb Sucking, How Old is Too Old?

baby sucks thumbThis question pops up all the time. When the children are young they are so adorable when they suck their thumbs. But as they get older we begin to get concerns as parents. Our daughter (4 1/2) still does it while reading stories before bed sometimes. Most of the time it is only for a couple minutes so we haven’t bothered to try doing anything about it. It might be interesting to see what happens when the new baby is born in October.
