The Week in Recalls 3/30 - 4/5
Here is a recap of the child-related product recalls from the Consumer Product Safety Commission between 3/30/08 and 4/5/08.
The first item on the list is for a particular brand of hooded sweatshirts, due to a strangulation hazard associated with the draw strings. While this recall is for a specific brand, there have been numerous recalls in the past for other brands as well. It’s often a good idea just to remove the drawstrings from hooded sweatshirts, or cut them down much shorter.
