The Transition From Summer to Winter

Check out my new tent I got this past summer. The thing is enormous. I can stand up in the center no problem. Camping and going fishing with the kids will be something I will miss this winter. But, now we will move on to sledding and making snowmen. I would like to get out more and do some ice hockey. I know they will like it. We have a public ice hockey rink not too far from here.
Here are some pictures of the kids from last winter. My personal favorite is Elizabeth taking the sled and sliding down the back steps…

That’s a very cool tent. We don’t have a tent yet, but that one is the kind I’d like to get.
I bought a new snow saucer yesterday for the kids. Now we just have to wait for a good snowfall.

Hi Phil. Yea that tent I bought at Walmart even. It was on clearance for 75% off. Don’t ask me how I got so lucky.
When do you normally get your first snowfall that sticks? We usually don’t get snow that stays on the ground until as early as the last week of November or sometimes we can wait as long as after Christmas.

Nice tent Steve. I bought a kelty from Rei over the summer and still haven’t been able to use it yet. Looks like fun!
