Stewie Griffin’s favorite book
I wrote yesterday about how Goodnight Moon is a household favorite and part of my son’s bedtime ritual. It had escaped me at the time, but I was reminded by a friend that Goodnight Moon
I then began to wonder if my son’s assassin-like attempts on me and my wardrobe and Stewie’s attempts on his mother’s life were somehow related to their affinity for Goodnight Moon. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s the childhood equivalent of The Catcher In The Rye which, according to urban legend, was a literary favorite among Mark David Chapman (John Lennon’s killer) , John Hinckley (Reagan’s attempted assassin) and Lee Harvey Oswald (JFK’s assassin).
