NORAD’s online Santa Tracker
That’s right, starting on December 24 you (or your kids) can track Santa as he makes his way around the world using technology from the North American Aerospace Defence Command. By logging in to http://www.noradsanta.org/ you can follow old Saint Nick on his global trek and check out photos from Santa cams.
Even cooler, if you have Google Earth or wish to install the free download, you will be able to track jolly old Claus in 3-D!
From NoradSanta.org:
Beginning at 2:00 am MTN on Christmas Eve, you can track Santa Live as he makes his historical journey around the world!
This is exciting, as Santa travels fast and NORAD Santa Cams take photos of Santa and his reindeer!
The Santa tracker has been around since 1955 and operates completely from donations from corporate partners.

I give it another year or so before some geek with too much time on his hands creates a “mod” in which you can blast Santa from the sky.
Happy holidays!

I would like to thank all of you at NORAD for bringing us your tracking of Santa again this year. All of you are deeply appreciated by the children and adults who viewed this. Please continue to do so in the future. It just wouldn’t be Christmas Eve without you!!! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.
