Jon Bon Jovi on fatherhood
In addition to demonstrating unprecedented longevity (for a rock star/celebrity) with an 18 year marriage to his high school sweet heart, Jon Bon Jovi has made some incredibly level headed comments about fatherhood.
The dad of four kids and permed arena-rock icon has said that he finds being a father more challenging than being a rockstar. That’s not to say that he’s the best dad in the world, but it demonstrates that he’s involved enough with the kids to know that it’s not always smooth sailing and photo-ops. Actually, he’s got a standing agreement with the paparazzi that they won’t photograph his kids as long as he is amenable to getting his picture taken.
He claims “I’m the one with the dad voice, and if you’ve got to use the dad voice, I can bring it out.” Although, I can’t imagine how corrective a stern voice is when it comes in melodic tones from a sporadic cast member of Ally McBeal who shares a hair style with Jodi Foster.

I think it’s great that Jon Bon Jovi keeps his family first. I’ve “heard” that he has also recently became a born again Christian. Can you confirm?

Hi JT,
I think it’s great, too. However, I haven’t heard anything about his religious preference.
