Donate to EWG with a click at Stonyfield Farms

by Bill on March 29th, 2008

Stonyfield Farms is currently offering a donation program for the Environmental Working Group (EWG).  EWG is a nonprofit dedicated towards protecting kids from toxins and contaminants in our food.

Stonyfield will donate $1 (per click, per day) to EWG for every person who clicks on a particular link.  It doesn’t get much easier than that to assist a worthy causes that effects everyone. Simply visit the YoBaby organic yogurt page at http://www.yobabyyogurt.com/donation/, enter your email and click the image of the baby and another dollar will be donated to EWG.

Above the good feeling you get from helping out, you’ll also get a downloadable Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce. A while back I mentioned the importance of organics and limiting pesticides in food, and this is a great resource to print and take with you to the grocery store.  (It actually has a square that you can cut out of the print out that fits neatly in your wallet.)

About EWG

The Environmental Working Group is a nonprofit organization that works to protect you and your family - especially babies, children and infants in the womb - from health problems attributed to a wide array of toxic contaminants including pesticides and other potentially harmful chemicals in food.
