Bat Attacks Baby
Via Babylune… This is one of those freak incidents like oh, say a snake climbing into a baby’s crib on Long Island.
A four-month-old baby was the victim of a strange attack in the mountains of Northern Utah. The baby boy was attacked by a bat in the middle of the day.Martin and Danielle Lazenby were sitting around a campfire in Santaquin Canyon at about 10:30 a.m. on June 22 when something swooped down from the sky, latching onto their son Trenton’s chin.
Martin said, “It came just out of the trees right here, just in a straight beeline right for my baby.”
When the Lazenbys turned Trenton over, they discovered a bat on their son.
As it turns out, the bat was severely rabid. The entire family is now going through a teo week regiment of rabies vaccines. As Eliza at Babylune said, “this is one of those things everyone worries about, but known ever think it’ll happen to them.”
While this is an extremely rare occurance, I think this will probably totally freak people out about bats. My wife is likely one of those people so I’m just hoping she doesn’t read this post.
