A Wii little baby
I’m always looking for a ways to justify electronics purchases to my pregnant wife, and I’ve changed my tactics to involve our forthcoming son. I claimed an LCD panel would be helpful in the nursery so we can make sure the baby has a constant supply of cheery and educational imagery. She disagreed with little more than a laser-like stare.
Well, while digging around on Youtube, I came across a justification for a new purchase before realizing that I had an interest in that particular gadget. Apparently the Nintendo Wii is a great way to entertain babies. Check out this video of a baby breaking out in absolutely infectious laughter every time his dad takes a swing on his Wii golf game. This kid is adorable and his laugh will put a smile on just about anyone’s face. Honey, we need one!

I am this close to being approved to buy a Wii after my wife watched our son cackling while I was playing bowling when my sister brought her Wii over to our house the other day. Good stuff.

uh… I hope you joking in your first paragraph
please don’t expose your newborn to TV’s flickering images… that’s bad brain chemistry. True: kids will watch, but it’s like the way a cobra will watch something. They can’t help themselves. But it’s bad news. It’s also the beginning of the end.

Yes, Brent, I was just joking. I’d like to keep him from being a computer or TV addict. Computers are now an inevitable part of modern life and TV does have educational value, but I’d like to try and make sure that once he’s old enough he doesn’t stay glued to an LCD or flat panel.
