6 toys recalled yesterday, I’m sick of this crap
I’m trying not to be negative and almost don’t like posting recalls every time one occurs (especially because it seems to be happening every day), but I feel it is something of which people should be aware. However, an additional six toys were recalled yesterday (Oct. 11, 07, listed below).
At the suggestion of a commenter on a previous recall post, I would like to assemble a list of people’s favorite healthy and safe toys. If you’ve got favorite (homemade or purchased) toys, please contact me and let me know about them. Either leave a comment or email me at bill.fezzie at b5media dot com
Credit for this list lays with CFO.

1 opinion for 6 toys recalled yesterday, I’m sick of this crap

I honestly don’t know the answer. Anything that has color is potentially lead covered. If you buy unpainted, wooden toys from craftsmen, they might not be constructed safely. Until the age of three, anything and everything gets put in the mouth. When we were little, we were allowed to play with pots and pans that I’m sure were dangerous metals. I remember my much younger brother chewing on my mother’s car keys. Now we know how toxic the things inside the ignition are for children. Did we just discover what is dangerous or are we just now looking for it? Aren’t there some standards written down somewhere?
