I have no baby yet, but I now have tons of advice about how to trigger labor; pressure points, walking, spicy foods, baths, sex, nipple stimulation (three hours a day?!), ME getting drunk, jumping jacks, driving over bumpy roads and several more.
I’m sure one of these would appear to work at some point because, well, […]

Okay people, this is starting to drive me nuts. I want me a baby! My wife is now 5 days overdue and I’m overtired and over anxious. Initially one of my biggest fears was that I would not finish the nursery before the little one arrived. Well, I’m done, but no boy.
As you may recall, […]

He went on to say “The children are the joy of my life and I feel as if I have been made into a new person.”
The timing of this statement makes me wonder if the rumors about Angelina Jolie […]

I have found the entire baby product buying experience to be quite eye opening and trying on my patience. Everything from limited availability and recalls of products still in their boxes, to horrifically deficient assembly instructions and products which arrived with blemishes.
Truth be told, I don’t have a major problem with any of these things. […]

I hope this Thanksgiving day finds you all well and happy and thankful for all the good things in your life, like your kids.
For those of you enjoying turkey today, I thought I’d mention tryptophan, an amino acid found in turkey that is often blamed for making people tired after eating. This is “probably due […]

While it seems as though the purpose of a schedule is to see how many extra activities you can cram into your day, it’s important to make sure both you and your children have enough time at home. In light of how busy we all tend to be, it may be difficult for kids to […]
