My baby’s room now has walls. I’m not one to rush out and get something just because everyone else has it, but I have to say that putting up walls is one of the better ‘follow the crowd’ decisions I’ve made.
Tearing down the walls
Just to recap, I’ve torn out the old walls, ceiling and insulation […]

I keep track of my unborn baby’s progress using a couple handy and free internet tools.
The most graphically entertaining is the Baby ticker from babystrology.com. By simply filling in your due date, name and number of babies you’re provided with the HTML required to make this magic happen. The image (right) is how your baby […]

“Amid a fresh wave of toy recalls yesterday, a consumer advocacy group said it had found hazardous levels of lead in many toys made out of vinyl plastic, potentially expanding the scope of testing and recalls of contaminated toys.

Bad Dad Radio has some information on getting alerts from the AMBER (America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response) System free to your wireless phone.
“…a state-wide alert is issued when an abducted child, age 17 years or younger, is reported to a local law enforcement agency. By quickly distributing information to the public, citizens may be able […]

Seeing as how my original concoction of salt, pepper and lemon made my wife want to puke, we decided to revisit homeopathic cures for her scratchy, irritated throat. This time we tried a honey lemon drink that is much more palatable. I tried it after I made a batch for my wife and found it […]

As an expectant father I am well aware of how volatile a pregnant woman can be. It’s perfectly natural, but you fathers (and some of you mothers) know that expectant moms can be hormonal, angry and often hard to calm down. However, here is substantial proof that you should not mess with a pregnant woman.
A […]
